Roman SŁOWIŃSKI

Professor Roman Słowiński is Vice President of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a Full Member of the Academy. Since 2013 he is a member of the Informatics Section of Academia Europaea. He is a Founding Chair of the Laboratory of Intelligent Decision Support Systems at the Institute of Computing Science, Poznań University of Technology, Poland and also a Professor at the Systems Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Roman Słowiński has conducted extensive research on methodology and techniques of intelligent decision support where he combines Operational Research and Artificial Intelligence, for which he has been recognized by IEEE (the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers - 2017), INFORMS (the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences - 2019) and IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing - 2019) among many.
